Meghan Markle's royal connections before she had even met Prince Harry...including a Made in Chelsea pal
The 41 year old was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and rose to fame when she landed the role of Rachel Zane in US legal drama Suits in 2011 - a part she went on to play for seven seasons.But prior to their meeting, and despite her American roots, Meghan was possibly more connected to Harry than she knew.
But despite their previous friendship, Millie was not on the guestlist at Harry and Meghan's wedding in 2018. Her mother Jane von Westenholz, meanwhile, is said to be a long time friend of Queen Consort Camilla.In 2018, Violet told the Daily Telegraph: "I might leave that for other people to say [who it is]. It’s a great story and I am sure they are going to be very happy together. I am just happy they are really happy. They are great together."
When they first became friends, Misha was married to Alexander Gilkes, 43, who went to Eton college at the same time as Harry, 38, and Prince William, 40.
