King Charles III and Queen Camilla drop in for a hilarious surprise appearance on American Idol as they ask hosts Katy Perry and Lionel Richie 'just how long' they'll be filming in this funny clip.

Katy - who has performed for King Charles and other members of the British Royal Family at the Coronation concert after attending the crowning of the monarch in London - made headlines around the world in 2018 after making critical remarks about the Duchess' Givenchy wedding dress. She looked sensational in a huge gold metallic gown as she entertained the 20,000 strong audience with a selection of her most famous hits.
In footage shared online, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could be seen enjoying the show from the front seats of a section at the Resorts World Theatre on Saturday night Meanwhile, it appears Harry and Meghan love to attend music concerts for their date nights, after the couple - who are parents to Prince Archie, four and, Princess Lilibet, two - were filmed at a Beyoncé performance.
But Harry appeared disinterested as the pair were spotted in a private box along with Meghan's mother Doria Ragland and Meghan's Suits co-star and close friend Abigail Spencer. The members of their group, including the Sussexes, wore silver to match the singer's request that her fans wear the colour to her show.
