The trio could spend it in America
Jeff J MitchellThe Duke and Duchess of Sussex have travelled to Sandringham for Christmas for the last two years, and Harry has only ever missed one Christmas at the Queen's estate when he was serving in Afghanistan while in the army. Her Majesty has spent every day at the Norfolk estate since 1952.
"Christmas at Sandringham can be quite stressful so perhaps they don’t want to go with Archie at such a young age," royal biographer Ingrid Seward told the publication. "I think it’s sad they don’t want to be part of the family gathering, particularly now the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh are in their dotage. The Queen might be a little hurt but she’s far too gracious to ever let it show or be known."During the Sussexes time off, it's thought they will be celebrating Thanksgiving in America and enjoying some time as a family following a busy few months, which saw them travel to Africa for their first royal tour as a trio.
Hopefully Meghan and Harry can now really relax and enjoy their six-week break away from the spotlight.
