Sir Jim Ratcliffe's team have been working hard behind the scenes as the INEOS owner's bid to purchase a 25 per cent stake in Man United looks set to go through
Sir Jim Ratcliffe appears set to move ahead with his proposal to acquire a 25 per cent stake in Manchester United.
That could mean big changes are afoot as the club will be looking to get back on top. When submitting his opening offer for the Reds in February, INEOS announced it would be 'clearly focusing on winning the Champions League' - meaning upgrades to players, staff and facilities could well be necessary to fulfil their vision.
Upon his appointment, INEOS revealed Blanc's remit would include responsibility for 'the development of state-of-the-art dedicated facilities for each of the teams that INEOS owns, developing their business plans and growing their global brands, as well as developing them into a global integrated Sports Group'. That same announcement revealed he would walk alongside Sir Dave Brailsford whose focus is on 'world-class performance management'.
Brailsford's role sees him manage the framework that fosters cross-team collaboration and shared learning across all of INEOS' sports teams. The final key figure is Rob Nevin, Chairman of INEOS Sports.
