ANGER: American rapper Meek Mill sparked a social media backlash after filming a music video at Ghana’s presidency
In the short video, Meek Mill and his crew are seen in different locations at Jubilee House including the main corridors, the main conference hall, and standing behind the presidential lectern rapping some explicit lyrics and dancing.rapper posted the video to his Instagram page announcing he was set to release a new track.
He wrote on Twitter: “All those responsible for this despicable desecration of the Jubilee House by Meek Mill must be fired immediately. How do those explicit lyrics from the president’s lectern project Ghana positively? Is Ghana’s seat of government no longer a high security installation?”Former deputy Chief of Staff Alex Segbefia added to the wave of criticism saying it was totally unacceptable that the government allowed Mill to shoot a music video at the presidential palace.
