The Village is expected to be full of festive cheer for the magical moment at 5pm on Sunday, November 19
East Kilbride will be tripping the light fantastic this month as the town gathers for the Christmas lights switch-on.

As well as a traditional brass band playing Christmas classics, live music will also come from Soundsational Choir with an appearance from Clyde 1 DJ Ali Wright and MC Gav.
She said: “We could all do with being cheered up at the moment, and what better way to do that than start the official count-down to Christmas with the switching on of the festive lights along with all the wonderful acts and entertainment that are lined up.
