Although full toxicology results will take at least six weeks to return, an initial investigation has reportedly found the Friends star did not have fentanyl or meth in his system when he died.

Perry’s house was searched and no illicit substances were found, with the 17 Again star advocating for sobriety for much of his life. In many tribute messages, friends had shared how Perry had helped them overcome addiction in their own life after he recovered from his own substance struggles.
