EXCLUSIVE: Matt Baker said it is 'priceless' to be able to spend time with his parents, as series two of Matt Baker: Travels with Mum and Dad continues, after he quit his hosting job on The One Show
Former host of The One Show, Matt Baker, is back for a second series of Matt Baker: Travels with Mum & Dad, and he is loving every minute of travelling with his parents.
Speaking exclusively to OK!, Matt said: “It’s priceless, and you know what getting to spend time together, and taking folk to places you know they are going to love, that are doable for them, to really experience, is invaluable. “I think certainly as parents get older, you enter into this chapter, where you become a little bit more protective, and you are a bit more reluctant to go far, so if you can take your parents places, they will love it.”
“They are not just necessarily just talking about stuff that happened years and years ago, they are talking about new stuff that they have just experienced. I think that’s really important."
