One of the victims was 32-year-old Brian Ross, who lived in the Roseland neighborhood, according to the medical examiner’s office and county court records. His uncle, Jonathan, described Ross as a good person, nephew and father. The gathering in the park was like a fair, filled with kids and good food, his uncle said. “It would’ve been a peaceful day.”
