Masked Intruders Break in and Demand Family's Money -- But Pregnant Mom Saves the Day
barged in, guns in hand, demanding you to give them"everything you've got"? Arecently, during a robbery attempt gone wrong. But luckily, the mom who was home at the time wasn't about to let the robbers get away with a fight.
“They came in heavily hooded and masked,” he recalled to Bay News 9. “As soon as they had got the back door opened, they had a pistol on me and was grabbing my 11-year-old daughter.” Hearing the commotion, King's wife peaked around the corner and saw her husband being beaten, Fox 43 reports. But instead of freezing in a panic, she thought fast -- and grabbed her AR-15.
The deceased suspect, who has yet to be publicly identified, was later found dead in a nearby ditch by police. The second suspect, who has also not been identified, is still at large. While little is known at this time, according to police, this was not a random act and the family was likely targeted.
