One of the best things about autumn and winter is undoubtedly indulging in more comfort food as the weather gets colder.
The cooking legend created a "simple" bolognese pasta bake dish which was shared on her TV show 'Mary Berry's Simple Comforts', and it's also featured in a video online and on the BBC Food website. Before preparing the meal, you'll need a frying pan or a deep pot, a pan with a lid and a shallow oven-proof dish.For the pasta:Heat some oil in a deep frying pan. Once hot, add onions and celebrity and cook on a high heat until the vegetables soften for around three minutes.Then add both the garlic and tomato puree to the sauce and give it a good stir. Add in the Worcestershire sauce, tomatoes and redcurrant jelly. Lastly, add your beef stock to the mixture and season with salt and pepper.
Take the lid off, and keep the mushrooms cooking for a further two minutes. Add them to the mince sauce and stir, along with some thyme.
