World Cup winner Lisandro Martinez was given a hero’s reception ahead of his first match back at Manchester United.
While making his way onto the pitch, Martinez was given a standing ovation by the supporters at Old Trafford, along with his United teammates who applauded him as he made his way onto the pitch. Fans held their controversial banner aloft which pays tribute to the centre-back, with a meat cleaver in the centre of an Argentine flag, a tribute to his nickname of ‘The Butcher’.
