He says millions of households could be missing out on benefits
Martin Lewis has urged all UK households who are earning less than £40,000 of income to check if they are eligible for benefits.
In the website's latest newsletter, households across the UK with a combined income of less than £40,000 are urged to use a benefits calculator to see if they could get extra Government support with bills, Nottinghamshire Live. The Money Saving Expert website says: "The main thing to remember is benefits are not just for the unemployed.
"State support is designed to help those in a range of situations, from those struggling on a low income, to new families, to those with long standing medical conditions. Even someone earning a high salary could be eligible for some help.
