Money mastermind Martin Lewis has issued a message to motorists advising them how they can get paid to buy petrol and diesel.
The system could see you earn over £100 a year when combined with other shopping like food and your monthly bills.Although petrol and diesel are now slightly cheaper than the all-time highs seen last year, both fuels are still much higher than they were before the recent crisis.Martin Lewis said the tip involves opening a Santander Edge account.
It costs £3 per month with a minimum pay-in of £500 every month, so you could put your wages in there, and it gives 1% cashback on bills , as well as 1% cashback on food shopping, fuel and travel, up to a maximum of £10 a month. He said that on typical bills for an average household, it will give you £70 to £100 per year cash back after the fee is taken out.
