While the dance world is often criticized for being one of the least politically involved musical genres, electronic producers from all genres have spoken out on social media in response to the death of George Floyd. The United States has erupted into nationwide protests after George Floyd, a black man, was allegedly killed by suffocation when a Minnesota police officer kneeled on his neck. The incident has sparked nationwide protests since a video of the event surfaced on the internet on Monday, May 24.
