Naturally, this has raised the bar for the next UK series, and we can hardly wait to meet the next batch of brides and grooms signing on for the two-month experiment. So, how long exactly will we have to wait?While we don’t have a confirmed air date, based on last year's season we reckon MAFS UK 2024 will likely hit our screens around Monday 16 September.Who is in the MAFS UK 2024 line-up?
Although we don’t have a full cast list yet, some of the rumoured brides and grooms have been revealed in the weeks leading up to the show. Lacey Martin, Holly Ditchfield and Polly Sellman have all reportedly signed on to be brides, while rugby player Stephen Nolson is the first rumoured groom to be named.
However, we have already seen a small excerpt of the new series featuring another bride and groom. A teaser trailer was released at the end of August which showed mechanic Kieran and dog-walker Kristina tie the knot. While not much is known about the pair yet, we did get a glimpse of Kieran’s humour as he donned a pair of fake teeth for his wedding day. If this early prank is anything to go by, this series is going to be a true car crash and we can’t wait.
The cast film the show over an eight-week period. During that time, the couples live together and have no contact with their friends and family aside from the family visit episode. This might help explain some of the questionable behaviours and decisions of the contestants.You can watch the show on Channel 4, Mondays through Thursdays every week, but sadly there's no episodes on Fridays through Sundays. Even we need a break sometimes.
