Married at First Sight UK's Whitney Hughes has opened up about how some of her family refused to attend her 'intense' ceremony as they were shocked she wanted to marry a stranger
Married At First Sight UK star Whitney Hughes has revealed why some of her family members refused to attend her wedding ceremony on the show.
She said: "They were shocked that I of all people would want to get married. I’d never introduced my family to a guy before, I very rarely dated so they were shocked that I made that decision. But her nerves got the better of her as she revealed that they had to film her wedding entrance twice. But Whitney quickly found her feet on the show as she soon made a number of flippant comments during the vows and even rolled her eyes at her new husband.
Whitney added that they may "find it hard to make it work" - especially if they face public scrutiny like she did.
