Melancon first listed this nearly 6,000-square-foot Holmes Beach spread for $14.78 million last year, with it going on and off the market ever since.
The All-Star baseball player listed the Holmes Beach property — about an hour south of Tampa — for $14.78 million in May of last year, according to Zillow, before changing his mind and taking it off the market in September. He put it up for sale again in January for $12.99 million — but took it down a few weeks ago.
The new $10.95 million price tag means Melancon’s not playing around and intends to find a buyer soon, his broker, Charles Buky of Coldwell Banker, told The Post. It was tough for the former Yankee to part ways with the beloved home that he built for his wife and their three children, Buky said. But since Melancon now pitches for the Arizona Diamondbacks, he’s unable to fly back often enough to make it worth keeping.
At 5,921 square feet, the Bimini Bay manor has six bedrooms, plus five full and two half baths.
