On Below Deck Down Under season 2, the goodbye from the crew to Adam was significantly cut down. According to Margot's Instagram Story, Adam held a whole ceremony to say goodbye the rest of the crew on the Northern Sun. "In regards to Adam being fired, I feel like it's being shown that we were all like, 'bummer...bye!' when really, like, I was devastated. We were all devastated," she explained in a now-deleted Instagram Story.
Adam Kodra Reveals What He Loved About Each Below Deck Crew Member Margot continued on to explain that Adam had one of the most emotional goodbyes of the season, sharing that he wanted to make sure every crew member knew how much he cared. "Adam actually gathered all of us into [the Engine Room]," Margot explained, "and he stood in the middle and he went around to each and every person saying what he loved about all of us individually.
The Below Deck Down Under cast has been through the wringer throughout their charter season. While Margot's difficult time with terminated Bosun Luke Jones was one of the most difficult parts of the season to watch, it's clear that it's changed many of the Northern Sun crew mates' perspectives. Margot shared that there was a high level of emotions running through everyone during Adam's goodbye.
With Below Deck Down Under season 2 having been the most dramatic installment of the series yet, it's been fascinating to see the cast reacting to the show in real time. From dealing with tough situations and coming through them with a renewed sense of understanding, to dealing with losing a crewmate, the Northern Sun crew has dealt with more than most.
