Reports have described lights moving in the air and unexplained objects moving in front of the moon at night
NASA has published a report into hundreds of unidentified flying objects, which they call UAPs - meaning unidentified anomalous phenomena, with almost 1,000 unexplained objects reported over the skies above the UK since January 2021.
In Merseyside specifically there have been around 20 UFO sightings in that time. One sighting of a reported UFO over Formby, described "two lights at an angle moving up and down, too far apart to be a plane or a drone."READ MORE: Triple lock promise could see State Pensions drop by £75 in DWP update The sighting - logged on an interactive map that shows every single sighting and its specifics throughout the country - said the object then "moved forward then disappeared."
Another sighting, from August 24, 2021, reported a "black object motionless and hovering with no sound." The report added: "There one second, gone the next."
