The officers will join forces with Wayne’s Towing, in East Petersburg, Lancaster County, in an effort to provide aid to displaced Ukrainians and active military members.

The Manheim Township Police Department and a Lancaster County towing company are combining to collect aid they can send to displaced Ukrainians and active military members. Area residents and community members are encouraged to bring donations to a “Fill the Truck” event, which will run from 2 to 5 p.m. April 16. It will be held at Wayne’s Towing, 5199 Main St., East Petersburg. Manheim Township police will be on hand for a meet and greet and to help load donations into the collection truck.
