On a leafy suburban street a postage stamp-size coffee kiosk is vying for the title of Manchester's smallest coffee shop
It’s not uncommon for business owners to say they live and breathe their work. But in the case of Jonathan Fleetwood, a hair stylist with over a decade of experience, it might actually be an understatement.
“I did it on a bit of a whim really, I didn’t have anything else really due to Covid and I hadn’t even been to Didsbury, I didn’t know it existed,” Jonny tells me as he finishes up for the day, even though he’s technically not meant to be working today. Jonny started out over a decade ago, working at Toni & Guy, as well as Flanagans in Manchester, and then over in Huddersfield with his parents who were also hairdressers. He then decided to up sticks to Australia, it was here that the roots for Kraft in its latest iteration would take route.
Terry had worked in coffee shops in Hong Kong before moving over to the UK just over two years ago. It was due to the political unrest in the special administrative region that he and his parents moved to Greater Manchester, finding somewhere to live in Middleton, while his sister was in Tokyo.
