Ratcliffe is set to take over sporting control upon his expected 25 per cent investment at Man Utd and is said to be a fan of Erik ten Hag.
The takeover process is perhaps on the back burner for this week following the sad passing of Sir Bobby Charlton.
Sir Bobby’s legacy will continue in many facets, one of them being in the stand named after him. He remains the only person to have played for the club to have such an honour. He is thought to be a fan of Erik ten Hag and is keen not to cross his judgement over the Jadon Sancho situation. The winger looks set for a January loan exit but the issue would still be on the table should he have his 25 per cent stake ratified before next summer.
