Casemiro missed the Liverpool game, Kobbie Mainoo was not visible in training on Thursday and Anthony Martial is due to be returning next week.
Kobbie Mainoo did not train with Manchester United on Thursday as he was unwell but manager Erik ten Hag is hopeful the midfielder will travel with the squad to Brentford for their Saturday night kick-off.
The 18-year-old was not visible in the imagery or footage United released of their Thursday training session and Ten Hag confirmed Mainoo had been under the weather. Ten Hag suggested Casemiro would return to the squad after he missed the FA Cup quarter-final victory over Liverpool with a hamstring problem. Casemiro has trained outdoors this week but Ten Hag was undecided over whether he would start against Brentford.READ MORE: United players to return from injury vs Brentford
Anthony Martial is scheduled to return next week after he underwent groin surgery ten weeks ago. Martial, 28, is certain to be released when his contract expires in the summer and Ten Hag bluntly said it "depends on him" if Martial plays for United again.
