England boss Gareth Southgate has named his squad for the upcoming clashes with Malta and North Macedonia later this month.
England manager Gareth Southgate has named a combined total of six Manchester City and Manchester United players in his squad for the Three Lions' upcoming internationals.
Though the job is done and dusted, he has refused to overlook his most senior and important players for the upcoming double-header, naming a 25-man squad packed to the rafters with star-studded talent. City quartet Kyle Walker, Kalvin Phillips, Phil Foden and Jack Grealish have made the cut, as have United duo Harry Maguire and Marcus Rashford.
Though Southgate is disappointed to be without the former Everton ace, he believes his absence will create an opportunity for a fellow centre-back to prove themselves. England squad for November internationals: Goalkeepers: Sam Johnstone, Jordan Pickford, Aaron Ramsdale.
