Police responded about 1:25 a.m.
OAKLAND — A 35-year-old man was in stable condition Thursday morning at a hospital after being shot in East Oakland, police said.
Officers found the man on the ground in a parking lot in the 1600 block of 11th Avenue after responding there at about 1:25 a.m., police said. A ShotSpotter activation and multiple calls to 911 alerted police.Police have not established a motive and said they are unsure whether somebody in a vehicle shot the man or whether the suspect approached him.Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the shooter.
