A man was hospitalized after he was stabbed Saturday at the Grand Street subway station, police said – in the latest violent incident in the city’s transit system.
An unidentified assailant stabbed a 37-year-old man in his buttocks at the B and D train station at Grand Street and Chrystie Street around 10:40 p.m., according to police. The attacker fled in an unknown direction.No further details on the incident were immediately available. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
“Yeah because I’m God. Yes I did. I’m God, I can do it,” Martial shouted to a drove of reporters, adding “she stole my f—ing jacket, that’s why,” when asked about his motive. The Grand Street subway station stabbing comes on the same day that an Asian woman was fatally pushed in front of an oncoming subway car.
