A man and a boy have been arrested in connection with the brawl
West Yorkshire Police rushed to Scott Hall Grove, in Chapeltown, at 2.13pm today after receiving reports of a group of men fighting in the street. One man is said to have been in possession of a "weapon".
Police were then called by paramedics at 2.37pm who had found a man with serious injuries on Scott Hall Walk. He was rushed to hospital for treatment.A man, 18, and a boy, aged 15, have been arrested in connection with the brawl and police cordons remain in place in Scott Hall Road and Scott Hall Grove at the time of writing. A spokesperson for WYP said: "At 2:13pm today , police were called to reports of males fighting in the street on Scott Hall Grove, Chapeltown.
"One male was reported to be in possession of a weapon. A further call was received at 2:37pm, from the ambulance service reporting a male had been found on Scott Hall Walk with serious injuries, who was taken to hospital for treatment. "Two males aged 15 and 18 have been arrested nearby in connection with the incident. Police cordons remain in place at Scott Hall Road and the Scott Hall Grove area at this time.
"Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing. Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information that could assist with the investigation is asked to contact Leeds District CID via the 101LiveChat function on the website or by calling 101 quoting crime reference 13230009965."
