A man was shot confronting people he suspected of stealing his vehicle around 11:56 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2023, at the E-Z Shop at the corner of West Military and Timbercreek drives, San Antonio police said.A man was wounded Monday night in a West Side convenience store while confronting people he accused of stealing his car.
The shooting was reported around 11:56 p.m. at the E-Z Shop at the corner of West Military and Timbercreek drives, San Antonio police said. A sergeant said the man found his stolen vehicle parked outside the store and confronted at least two people inside. He told them,"You're busted," and said that police were on their way, the sergeant said. That's when one male suspect pulled a gun and shot toward the door, hitting the victim.
The suspected thieves fled. EMS took the man to University Hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm in stable condition.
