Daniel Rutt said it's now been two years and he is 'living in hell'
A man has described living in a city centre apartment as "hell" with certain issues making it "hard for him to breathe".
The 34-year-old said since temporary traffic lights were put outside his home, because of the development, he has encountered a whole host of issues. Daniel said: “I understand that things need to be constructed but it has been going on for two years now. The main issue is during the night when taxis and buses stop at the temporary traffic lights that have been set up by my apartment.
He added: "The street is tight and the fumes from the cars make it hard to breathe in my apartment." Daniel lives close to Chinatown in a first-floor apartment that looks out onto Duke Street. The noise from the traffic, Daniel said, keeps him up at night, and then work starts at the hotel in the morning.
