Authorities are investigating the death of a man inside the lobby bathroom of a State Police station after he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and then released.
The man, whom authorities did not immediately identify, was involved in a car crash shortly after 11 p.m. Monday evening. “He was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence, processed at the NJSP Bellmawr Station, and later released from police custody,” according to a statement from the state Attorney General’s Office, which by law investigates all deaths in police custody.
