Stanningley Bypass was temporarily closed on Tuesday afternoon after a man fell from a bridge
West Yorkshire Police were called to Stanningley Bypass, near Pudsey, on Tuesday afternoon following reports a man had fallen from a bridge. Officers have confirmed a man fell from the bridge and was taken to hospital upon their arrival.
Traffic was temporarily stopped on Stanningley Bypass following the incident yesterday afternoon, while emergency services responded. It has since reopened.The severity and seriousness of the man's injuries has not been released by police. A West Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "Police were called this afternoon with reports of a concern for safety – male on bridge over Stanningley Bypass who fell from height and was taken to hospital."
