Raami Mohamed and Kevell Blake deny the murder of Badri Issa
A young man was murdered after trying to act as a peacemaker when a fight broke out following a row over a car, a jury has heard. Badri Issa, 22, had been on his way to an exercise class with his pal Omar Jeylaani when Raami Mohamed, the driver of another car, gestured for him to pull over, a court was told.

Mr Mohamed got out of his car, a white Seat Ibiza, and approached Mr Jeylaani shouting ‘what have you done?’, the jury heard.
Jurors were told Mr Jeylaani heard Mr Issa shout that he’d been stabbed. “He saw his friend fall to the ground, and saw that the white t-shirt he had been wearing was now stained red,” Mr Pratt said. Prosecutors allege Mr Blake ‘assisted and encouraged’ Mr Mohamed ‘in his use of the knife’. “Kevell Blake was with Raami Mohamed before, during and after the stabbing,” Mr Pratt said.
