A man was shot dead in broad daylight outside a Brooklyn deli Wednesday, authorities said.
The 36-year-old targeted victim was blasted in the neck on the corner of Gates Avenue and Nostrand Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant while standing in front of Mr. Gates Deli just before 7:30 a.m., according to law-enforcement sources. The victim was standing outside of Mr. Gates Deli on the corner of Gates Avenue and Nostrand Avenue.EMS took the mortally wounded unidentified man to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, where he died.The gunman fled on foot, according to police.
