Scott Grant was arrested at his home on May 14, in 2020, where police uncovered a crossbow, knives and a ballistic vest, as well as a second, legal, blank firing weapon.
A man who bought a handgun from abroad and tried to get it delivered to his Greenock home has been sent to jail after being caught.
The gun, which is illegal in the UK as it can easily be converted to fire real bullets, had been sent from Spain, where such weapons are legal. “The Organised Crime Partnership will continue our work with partners like Border Force to keep communities safe from potentially dangerous weapons like this.”
