When officers arrived at the scene, they were told that a man was found dead in the back of a vehicle.
January 01, 2022 at 10:03 am PSTPARKLAND, Wash. — A man was found dead in a vehicle in Parkland after reports of a shooting Saturday morning.
Deputies responded to reports of shots being fired at Wheeler Street South and Ainsworth Avenue South at 5:21 a.m.Officers searched the area but were unable to identify anyone who witnessed the incident or possible suspects. Police have identified the victim and the vehicle will be towed away from the scene and searched once a warrant has been served.
Forensics investigators and detectives are at the scene documenting any evidence and will continue to investigate.
