A man named Alastair Campbell was found dead on Renfield Street in Renfrew. Police are treating his death as suspicious and are appealing for witnesses.
A man who was found dead in on a street in Renfrew in the early hours of Monday morning has been named locally as police treat his death as suspicious.
Neighbours say they were awoken by 'shouts' in the early hours. Detective Chief Inspector Graham McCreadie, from Police Scotland’s Major Investigation Team, said: “Our thoughts are with Alastair’s family and friends at this very difficult time. We’ll continue to support them throughout our enquiries.
