Detectives have said there will be a large police presence as they continue to investigate his death
Emergency services were called to a flat in Glenisla Street in the city's Tollcross at around 5.05pm on Sunday, June 25 where a man was found injured.A post-mortem has since been carried out and specialist teams are treating his death as suspicious.A 51-year-old man has since been arrested in connection with his death, and officers have assured that they are treating Mr Williams' death as an isolated incident.
Detective Chief Inspector Graham McCreadie said: “Extensive enquiries have been ongoing since the deceased was discovered on Sunday, and I want to reassure the community that we are treating this as an isolated incident.“Officers will be carrying out door-to-door enquiries and gathering CCTV and dash-cam footage which could provide the inquiry team with additional information.
