Human remains found in an east Birmingham trash pile over the weekend are those a man who had been missing since November.
A passerby discovered human remains Sunday, Jan. 29, 2023, in the 8400 block of Seventh Avenue South. “The whole time my brother was right beside his own house,’’ he said. “He didn’t deserve that,’’ he said.“Ultimately that’s what got him killed, having a big heart and helping people he shouldn’t have been helping,’’ he said.
“He was one of the most giving people I know,” he said. “He could be completely broke and give you the last thing he had to help you out.”
