CID and crime scene investigators are believed to be at the scene alongside forensic units.A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We were made aware of concern for a person on Byres Road in Glasgow shortly after 6.50am on Saturday, 8 June. Emergency services attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"His death is being treated as unexplained. Enquiries are ongoing and the road is currently closed near the junction with Dumbarton Road.
