A 28-year-old man shot several times died in surgery and Aurora police have opened a homicide investigation.
Police “secured” the victim’s vehicle, which had several bullet holes in it, and investigators connected the incident to a shooting in the 13100 block of East 13th Place, the Hoffman Heights area. Multiple shell casings were recovered at the scene.
No suspects have been identified and an investigation is ongoing. The victim’s name will be released by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office. Anyone with information on the shooting, or on a suspect, is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 .
