The 43-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene after being struck by a car in Fife yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to reports of the crash in the Windygates area of Fife around 6.10pm on Monday October 30.
The driver of the Mazda and passenger were not injured in the collision but were left shaken by what happened. The road was closed until 1am this morning to allow an investigation to be carried out.Road Policing Inspector James Henry, of Police Scotland, said: “Enquiries into the circumstances of this collision are ongoing. I would ask anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen the pedestrian or the crash to please contact us.
