Officers were called to the horrifying scene last week, where they discovered a 49-year-old man outside with serious injuries
A man has died after being found covered in blood in the middle of the street. The police says he was covered in blood on his hands, face and on his bare feet.
Manchester Evening News reports that the 49-year-old tragically died yesterday. Following the incident, a 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm. Police believe that the victim may have been drinking in local pubs in Oldham earlier on the day of the incident. However, they conceded that his movements in the hours leading up to being found are 'unclear'.
"Whilst we are not certain there is any form of criminality in this case, we cannot rule this out. We are looking at every possible scenario that could have taken place that evening and we need your help to piece together a chain of events.
