Jeremy Doku raced to the top of the Manchester City assist rankings with four in one game against Bournemouth - plus a well-taken goal assisted by Rodri.
Rodri has echoed Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola's surprise at how quickly Jeremy Doku has adapted to life at Manchester City.
"I think we were quite surprised in this sense because it’s not normal," said Rodri, after it was put to him that most players need a season to adapt to Pep Guardiola's style - but not Doku. Rodri suggested that City have lacked a winger with Doku's qualities since Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane departed, while adding that Doku's ability to quickly learn the tactical aspect of playing on the wing has also impressed his teammates as much as his contribution in front of goal.
