This afternoon , police confirmed that Jason Turner, from Brighton, East Sussex, was subsequently charged with burglary and possession of a bladed article. He appeared at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, January 5, and was released on bail with conditions. He is next due to appear at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on January 30.
On the same morning as the Ocean Bells break-in, another town centre shop was reportedly broken into between 3am and 7am, though it is currently unclear if police are linking the incidents.– including one in Prowse Avenue, Bushey Heath, and another in Woodlands Road, Bushey.
