A 34-year-old man will appear in court today following 'disruptive' behaviour on an easyJet flight from Glasgow to Tenerife. The flight was diverted to Bristol after a 'drunk' passenger hurled 'threatening' abuse at crew members.
A man is due to appear in court in connection with a disturbance which caused a Glasgow easyJet flight to make an emergency landing in Bristol.

The aircraft then took off and landed on the Canary island around four hours later. The return flight to Glasgow was delayed overnight as the cabin crew had reached their maximum permitted flying hours following the incident. "Brian Watt, from Rothesay, Scotland, has been charged with one count each of being drunk on an aircraft, criminal damage, failing to obey the lawful commands of the pilot while onboard an aircraft and using threatening, abusive or insulting words towards crew while in an aircraft.
