A thug attacked a man and demanded money from him in broad daylight.
The incident took place near the underpass on Burnhill Street in Rutherglen at around 3.50pm on Monday, April 29.The man demanded money and then took off empty-handed.Police are now probing the attack and attempted robbery.
Detective Constable Stuart Adams of CID said: “We are keen to trace a man described as 20 to 30 years of age, wearing a dark hooded jacket and white trainers. "His face was covered by a snood and he was carrying a backpack. We are keen to hear from anyone in the area at the time.
