A man was arrested in Merseyside this morning as part of a Greater Manchester Police investigation into an 'organised crime family'.
The suspect was arrested on conspiracy to conceal, transfer, and disguise criminal proceeds. He remains in custody for questioning.Police believe his role in the organised crime conspiracy was to 'collect cash payments from customers across Merseyside'. "The money would then be used by those higher up the chain to purchase wholesale amounts of cocaine", GMP added.
