A woman is being supported by 'specialist officers'.
Glasgow Live previously reported that the alleged attack took place at around 1.30am on Sunday in the Forbes Place area of the town. Police revealed that the victim was a 41-year-old woman.
Officers said that she was 'left shaken' following the riverside incident and is being supported by specialist officers.
