The 47-year-old is accused of assault to severe injury, permanent disfigurement, danger of life and attempted murder, as well as assault and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.Platt, from Johnstone, will appear again in court within the next eight days.
It comes after we reported that a 45-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with life-threatening injuries on Thursday afternoon.The area was locked down by officers and forensics scoured the scene.
